Bacon Fried Brussels Sprouts

Fried Brussels Sprouts

You will require:
A quantity of Brussels Sprouts
A quantity of streaky bacon (either smoked or un-smoked)
Some garlic, oil, almonds.

Prep the brusselers by taking off the stalk and the couple of outer leaves then drop them in boiling water for no more than 5 minutes then strain them and run cold water over them to stop them cooking. While youre doing this fry off the bacon in about a tablespoon of sunflower oil this way youll get two birds stoned at once and make the whole process quickerer. Once the bacon is crispy take it out of the pan and crumble it up. Roughly chop the almonds and garlic and fry until golden brown in the bacony oil. Tip all the oil, garlic & nuts into a cup (thats a C.U.P. you dicks). Chop the brusselers in half or quarters, if theyre large, then throw them in the pan on a medium heat. Once warmed through throw on the bacon and reserved oil, nuts & garlic, and mix around. Cook on medium for about 5 minutes and serve. And there you go, its not rocket appliances now is it?
